Severe winter weather conditions have frozen streets, canceled school, and snowed in Kansans for the past few weeks.

Clay County Emergency Management’s Director Pam Kemp says informing the public of severe weather is crucial to their safety:

Kemp says in addition to social media, the Everbridge notification system is also an important part of the equation:

Kemp encourages all to sign up for the Everbridge service to stay informed on severe weather updates.
