The Clay County Arts Council is proud to bring “Revelation/A Journey Tribute Band” to the Rex Theater in Clay Center on Saturday, November 9th. The performance will start at 7:00 p.m.
Hailing from the Kansas City area, Revelation plays the iconic hits of Journey to audiences across the Midwest. Clay County Arts Council President Michelle Gillard gives a little bio on the band Revelation.
“The Revelation Band is a tribute to Journey that started from the love and respect for the musicians that make up one of the best bands out of California, Journey. Revelation is made up of five talented musicians who capture the sounds and magic of the band Journey.”
Revelation lead vocalist Danny Wayman’s amazing vocals emulate the vocal style of Journey’s original lead vocalist Steve Perry, bringing authentic sound to their concerts. Audience members will enjoy listening and singing along to favorites like “Wheel in the Sky,” “Faithfully,” “Don’t Stop Believin,” and more.
Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the concert. Arts Council members and students get in for free. Clay County Arts Council memberships will also be available at the door for those interested. For more information on the upcoming concert visit the Art Council’s Facebook page.
