On Sunday evening, school authorities were alerted about a potential threat related to CCCHS. Communication was immediately sent to all district staff and CCCHS parents. 

During the late evening hours, law enforcement continued investigating and later contacted district officials to inform us that they had taken one juvenile into police protective custody pending further investigation. Together with law enforcement, it was determined that it was safe to proceed with a normal school schedule. Early this morning, a follow-up email was sent to all district staff and CCCHS parents.  

We are thankful for our local law enforcement’s excellent communication and rapid response to this situation. Out of an abundance of caution, there will be a heightened police presence at CCCHS. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
