Tyler Kern was named Scoutmaster of the year for the Konza District at the recent Baden-Powell Awards Ceremony.
Kern has been a lifelong participant in the scouting program, beginning as a cub scout and earning his Eagle Scout in 2005. He took over as Scoutmaster for Washington’s Troop 86 in 2016, and Scoutmaster of Clay Center’s Troop 54 in 2019.

Kern says he was recognized as Scoutmaster of the Year over the entire Konza District for his efforts in both Washington’s Troop 86, and Clay Center’s Troop 54.
