By Jayson Henderson

In Friday night’s game, the Tigers Boys secured their third win in the last four games in overtime in The Den. Cole Pladson scored 27 points, and Weston Hammond contributed 16, leading the team to victory.

The Lady Tigers also celebrated a successful performance with a win. Reagann McDonald led the scoring with 18 points, followed by Lily Edwards with 16 points, Janae Crimmins with 8 points, Sarabeth Martin with 4 points, and Ayla Johnson with 4 points. The Lady Tigers’ record now stands at 5-2.

In the upcoming matchups on January 9th, both boys’ teams, Southeast Saline, and Clay Center, as well as the girls’ teams, will face each other with identical records. The Southeast Saline and Clay Center boys’ teams share a 3-4 record, while the girls’ teams are both standing at 5-2. This sets the stage for evenly matched contests between the teams as they compete in non-conference games.
