Tigers Roll Friday Night

Clay Center methodically pulled away from SE-Saline Friday in The Den. They scored over 70 points for the 3rd time this season in a 72-63 win. Balance was the key; three Tigers hit double figures and eight different players were in the scorebook. Weston Hammond pumped in 17; Owen Craig 16 and Jace Weller 11. Brett Hoffman and Anthony Davies both went for 8; Isaac Berggren 5; Abram Stratton 4 and Cole Pladson 3. Hammond and Davies led the team in rebounds with 6 each. The Tigers combined for 10 assists to just 3 turnovers; Colten Tadtman and Craig had 5 dishes apiece. Clay Center now owns a 7-2 record and sits 2-2 in league play as they get set to head into the Hillsboro Trojan Classic this week.
