USD 379 and Twin Lakes Educational Cooperative to Offer Free Child Check Screening

USD 379 and Twin Lakes Educational Cooperative will offer another free Child Check Screening Clinic for children aged 0 to 5 on Monday, February 10th.  The clinic will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This Clinic is for children who reside in school districts that serve: Clay, Riley, Glasco/Miltonvale, Randolph/Olsburg, Linn, Hanover, and Barnes.

Jennifer Begnoche, School Psychologist, said this Clinic helps parents and caregivers identify their child’s strengths and weaknesses. The screening provides information about a child’s development in the areas of social, emotional, and physical development, speech and language, learning, vision, and hearing.

The Clinic is free, but parents and caregivers are asked to register. To register or for more information call Heidi at the USD 379 District Office.
