Wakefield Bombers Defeat Solomon Gorillas 38-28

The Wakefield Bombers secured a 38-28 victory over the Solomon Gorillas in a league football game on Friday, September 13th, in Solomon. With this win, Wakefield improves to 2-0 on the season, while Solomon remains winless at 0-2.

Wakefield’s consistent performance on both sides of the ball helped them maintain control throughout the game, earning their second consecutive win in district play. Solomon, now 0-2, fought hard but was unable to overcome the Bombers’ efforts.

Wakefield will host Canton-Galva on Friday, September 20th, for a non-league matchup. Canton-Galva enters the game with a 1-1 record, coming off a loss to Central Christian. Meanwhile, Solomon will prepare for their next home game against Frankfort, who brings a 2-0 record after a 72-22 win over Lyndon.
