Wakefield Has A New YLinK Chapter

Wakefield has a new Middle School YLinK chapter.

This is now Clay County’s fourth Youth Leaders In Kansas chapter. The group is only a few months old and already has four officers and 24 regular participants.

Wakefield YLinK Officer Lyla says the group’s goal is to create a fun place for Wakefield Middle Schoolers to find community:

The Wakefield Middle School YLinK Officers say their first project will be to clean up the Kansas Landscape Arboretum this spring.

The new YLinK chapter is open to all Wakefield Middle Schoolers and the group encourages those who are interested to sign up
