Wakefield Library’s Final 2024 Summer Reading Event Set for This Friday

The Wakefield Library will be holding their final summer reading event on Friday, June 28, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The event will have Cheryl Payne as the special guest reader. Wakefield Library Director Kim Orr shares more about the event.

The Library will also make a craft with the kids, serve a light lunch, and give kids a free book of their choice. Payne will be reading the book Thunder Cake, which is about conquering a child’s fear of storms.
