January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month. Sheriff Brian J. Bellendir of the Barton County Sheriff’s Office talks about what measures they’re taking in Barton County to aid in trafficking prevention.

According to the release, there are currently 204 total registered offenders in the county. 78 being sex offenders, 90 are drug offenders, and 36 are violent offenders. Currently there are 13 in jail, and seven are known to be non-compliant
