Kansas City Chiefs offensive linemen Wanya Morris and Chukwuebuka Godrick were arrested Thursday night in Johnson County, Kansas, for misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Both players were booked into jail and released Friday after posting a $2,500 bond each. The Chiefs confirmed their awareness of the incident but declined further comment.

Morris, a 2023 third-round draft pick, started four games at left tackle last season and is set to compete for the starting position this year. Godrick joined the Chiefs last season via the international pathway program and spent the year on the practice squad
