The Cloud County Sheriff’s Department announced on its Facebook page that there is a potential scam circulating Cloud County.

The scam consists of a letter stating it is from a legitimate healthcare provider and that they have experienced a data breach.

Cloud County Sheriff’s Department said that if you receive a letter from someone who is not one of your insurance, medical, or service providers, do not provide them with any personal information. If you are unsure or have any questions, contact your provider at the number they have previously provided you, like the number on your insurance card or an appointment card.
