Concordia Man Arrested After Crashing Suburban into Home

A Concordia man is in custody after crashing his SUV into a home and fleeing the scene early Saturday morning, May 31st.

Police first encountered the damaged vehicle around 12:30 AM after it ran a red light. A short pursuit followed before officers stopped the vehicle on College Drive. Authorities later determined the man had earlier crashed into a residence on East 11th Street, causing significant damage and injuring two people, one of whom was hospitalized.

The driver was also treated for injuries. On Tuesday, he was arrested on multiple charges, including four counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter, criminal threat, domestic battery, and felony property damage.

He also faces charges related to insurance and vehicle registration violations. He is currently being held at the Cloud County Corrections facility. The investigation is ongoing, and no further injuries have been reported.
