One Injured in Aggieville Shooting

At approximately 1:42 AM on April 14, 2024, officers on routine foot patrol in the Aggieville district heard a possible gunshot coming from the 1100 block of Moro Street.

Officers responded to the scene where they located a male subject, age 22, being detained by a bouncer. Upon initial assessment of the situation, officers observed the subject had sustained a head injury to which they called EMS and escorted the subject to the Aggieville Substation for further evaluation. Once there, officers discovered the subject also had a gunshot wound to his right thigh. EMS transported the victim/subject to Via Christi for treatment.
