On February 4th, 2024, at approximately 1:00 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on I-70 in Geary County and located approximately 7000 counterfeit oxycodone (M30) pills containing fentanyl destined to be distributed in Geary County.

The discovery of the pills led to several search warrants and several arrests, more arrests and charges are currently pending.
