On October 19, 2024, officers with the Riley County Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 700 block of N. 4th Street in Manhattan at approximately 8:45 PM. Upon arrival, officers located 58-year-old Don Stovall, who was later pronounced deceased.

On October 23, 2024, the Riley County Police Department executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Eighth St in Ogden. Antwajuane Mcneil, 31, was arrested in connection with the incident on probable cause offenses of murder, kidnapping and other offenses.
