Community Foundation of Dickinson County Opens 2025 Competitive Grant Cycle

The Community Foundation of Dickinson County is pleased to announce that the 2025 Competitive Grant Cycle is now open. Nonprofit organizations, Dickinson County governmental entities, and charitable causes serving Dickinson County are encouraged to apply for funding to support innovative, impactful, and community-centered projects.

Applications will be accepted through September 5th, and grant awards will be announced later this fall. “Our grantmaking is driven by the needs of the community and the generosity of people who care deeply about Dickinson County,” said Elizabeth Weese, Executive Director of the Community Foundation. “We look forward to supporting projects that improve lives, spark collaboration, and build a brighter future across our region.”

Eligible applicants include:

  • 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or fiscal agent(s)
  • Educational institutions
  • Government entities
  • Religious organizations (for non-religious, community-serving projects)

Projects must align with the Foundation’s mission to enhance the quality of life in Dickinson County and demonstrate measurable impact. Priority will be given to proposals that are sustainable, collaborative, and responsive to pressing community needs.
