The Community Foundation of Dickinson County is reminding local nonprofits, schools, and community groups that the deadline to apply for Community Foundation grants is quickly approaching.

The Foundation awards these grants to strengthen our communities across Dickinson County. In 2024, the Foundation provided more than $200,000 in support to more than twenty local projects and organizations, supporting efforts in education, arts and culture, and community development.

“If you have a project that will make a difference in Dickinson County, we encourage you to apply,” said Elizabeth Weese, Executive Director of the Foundation. “These grants are here to help non-profits and community groups bring their ideas to life and make Dickinson County an even better place to call home.”

Applications can be submitted online through the Foundation’s website at https://www.communityfoundation.us/grants.cfm until midnight on September 5th.
