Community revitalization expert Jeff Siegler will visit Marysville to deliver a free presentation, “Civic Apathy, Civic Pride,” on Saturday, February 22, at Marysville City Hall. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m., followed by the presentation from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., including time for audience questions.
Siegler, founder of Revitalize, or Die, is a leading voice in tackling civic apathy and fostering local pride. Through his work, he helps communities address neglect, disinvestment, and the attitudes that prevent them from thriving. His no-nonsense approach challenges individuals to take ownership of their town’s future, sparking engagement and meaningful change.
Revitalize, or Die is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa. They offer a range of services to support and empower communities. Through these initiatives, Revitalize, or Die has collaborated with numerous towns and cities across the United States, guiding them toward sustainable revitalization and instilling a renewed sense of ownership among residents.
His message is for everyone—residents, business owners, elected officials and community leaders alike. Siegler emphasizes that real change happens when people take responsibility for their communities rather than waiting for someone else to fix the problems.
“This is an incredible opportunity for our community to hear from a leader in revitalization,” said Liz Warren, president of OneMarysville. “His insights will inspire us to think critically about our role in shaping Marysville’s future.”
Sponsored by OneMarysville, this event is free and open to everyone. For more information, contact the OneMarysville office at 785-562-3101.
