The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is calling on the community to help meet its $70,000 Match Month goal this December. From December 3rd to December 31st, every dollar donated to any eligible fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Patterson Family Foundation, up to $45,650.
Donations to the Washington County Opportunity Fund, which supports grant-making across the county, are encouraged for those without a specific fund preference. Recent grants totaling $24,153.64 have funded projects like library improvements, exercise equipment, and community facility upgrades in Washington County.
Reaching the $70,000 goal would bring a total of $140,000 to the community, doubling the impact for local projects. Donations can be made online at washingtoncountycf.org or mailed to the foundation. The WCCF board thanks all past donors for their support in strengthening the community.
