Cloud County Community College is building a new Technical Education and Innovation Center on campus, scheduled to open in the fall of 2024. This new center will have a variety of programs. Some of these programs include Renewable Energy (Wind and Solar), Nursing, an EMT program, Agriculture, Welding, and more. A construction update on their Facebook page shows that the final section of flooring was recently poured. According to The U.S. Bureau Of Labor Statistics, jobs such as wind turbine technicians, welding, and nursing (a few of the programs that will be offered in the new building), are expected to grow over the next several years.
