The Cloud County Community College Board of Trustees approved four new hires at their meeting on Monday, March 25th including Brown from Hillsboro, North Dakota, Kimberly Monroe from La Salle, Colorado, Amber Simmons, and Willie Summerlin from Ogden, Kansas.

Brown will be the Division Dean for Math, Science, and Technical Programs beginning July 1st, 2024. He will also help the Vice President for Academic Affairs with coordinating the Math, Science, Ag, CDL, Welding, and Renewable Energy Programs.

Monroe will be a full-time Psychology Instructor beginning on August 9th, 2024. Monroe is working on her Ph.D. and is very experienced in the field of Psychology.

Simmons will be the full-time Allied Health Instructor, also beginning on August 9th. Simmons is an LPN and is currently working on earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Summerlin will be a full-time Information Technology Technician and starts the soonest of the four, on March 26th, 2024. He was previously a medic in the United States Army.
