Kansas State University’s College of Agriculture has been recognized as the No. 8 college on Niche.com’s 2025 list of Best Colleges for Agricultural Sciences. The ranking is based on data from the U.S. Department of Education and millions of student and alumni reviews, analyzing academic, admissions, financial, and student life factors.
Ernie Minton, Dean of the College of Agriculture, expressed pride in the recognition, noting that the ranking highlights K-State’s dedication to academic excellence, approachable faculty, and positive student experiences. He also emphasized the college’s Agriculture Innovation Initiative, which includes new facilities, innovative teaching, and research methods aimed at attracting top faculty and preparing students for leadership roles in agriculture.
Sophomore Kate Colgan, majoring in Animal Sciences and Industry, praised the faculty’s commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal growth, recalling how a faculty advisor assured her of their dedication to helping her achieve her version of success.
