North Central Kansas Technical College (NCK Tech), with campuses in both Hays, KS, and Beloit, KS recently announced a record-breaking number of 48 scholarships they have awarded to students.

The scholarships total $107,300 and have been awarded to 79 students on both campuses. This is a significant increase compared to previous years. In 2021, 22 scholarships were awarded to 49 students, compared to the 79 students receiving scholarships this year.

A reception was held on the Hays Campus on Wednesday, September 27th, while the Beloit Campus had their reception on Wednesday, October 4th.

This record-breaking number was made possible by several benefactors who value the importance of education. The benefactors include organizations, foundations, businesses, and even individual donors.

Eric Burks, President of North Central Kansas Technical College, shared his gratitude. “Many thanks to the support of all of our donors and particularly the Dane G. Hansen Foundation for matching 1:1 for endowed scholarships,” he said.

The Dane G. Hansen Foundation has helped the college grow their endowed funds significantly over the past three years.
