The Northwest Kansas Innovation Center has been awarded a grant to coordinate a childcare shared services hub for Northwest and North Central Kansas counties; including Cloud, Clay, Republic, and Dickinson County. The grant will benefit all childcare providers who participate in this network. The services, which will be expanded, will be less costly and more efficient.
Some of the services include: funding for online childcare management technology, childcare substitute recruitment scholarships, lending library, purchasing cooperative, and childcare professional development opportunities.
