Rohling Homestead outside of Manhattan will host not one, but two days of Halloween fun with “Halloween at the Homestead” on Saturday, October 19th, and Saturday, October 26th starting at 10:00 a.m. Proceeds from this two-day event will go towards helping a family in need.
Wayne Rohleder, Owner of Rohling Homestead, said they will have chili, hot dogs, brats, and other food available for lunch. Rohleder details some of the fun kids’ activities that will take place.
Proceeds from this two-day event will go directly to the Heller family of Solomon. Two-year-old Macie Heller was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia this past summer. Rohleder said after seeing another fundraiser for the Hellers, he contacted the family and set this fundraiser up to help.
Rohleder said they will have loads of pumpkins from Jirak Farms of Tampa, KS available for purchase, with all funds from the pumpkin sales also going to the Heller family. More information on “Halloween at the Homestead” and Macie can be found on their Facebook page.
