The Geary County Historical Society will be hosting A Kaw Theater Christmas on Saturday, December 13th 1-4pm. The original Kaw Theater candy—originally made by the Heyl family—will be on sale in three flavors: licorice, lemon, and, of course, cinnamon! Along with Kaw Theater candy, movie theater popcorn will be available to enjoy while watching classic Christmas movies.
The gift shop at the Historical Society will also be open for local Christmas gifts including books, mugs, tea towels, and ornaments with Kansas and/or Geary County themes.
The Geary County Historical Society Museum is located at 530 N. Adams, Junction City and includes three floors of exhibits that will also be open for touring throughout the event.
