This Saturday, September 7th The Commercial Building at the NCK Fairgrounds in Belleville will open up at 5:00 p.m. for the 5th Annual “Kickin It Country” for Connor’s Cuddles Cowboy Luau, with all proceeds going to bring smiles to children battling cancer, along with helping fund the fight against childhood cancer.

Connor’s Cuddles provides blankets and gift cards to children and their families battling childhood medical battles. Christine Ray-Strutt, President of Connor’s Cuddles, said what started as a small idea turned into something she never expected.

Strutt said they deliver blankets and gift cards to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Omaha, and Iowa, also. With the growth, they have been able to donate over $45,000 to childhood cancer research.

The “Kickin It Country” event will have a whole hog roast, raffles, auctions, dancing, and more. Strutt said the community is amazing with all the support they give for this event.

Head to the NCK Fairgrounds this Saturday for an evening of fun and company while supporting a wonderful organization and cause. For tickets and other information visit the “Kickin It Country” for Connor’s Cuddles Facebook event page.
