The Marshall County Arts Cooperative presents an evening of professional stand-up comedy on Friday, July 25, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Marysville Country Club, 1070 Pony Express Highway. The performance will feature nationally recognized comedians AJ Finney, Nic Dean and Jeremy Ricci.

AJ Finney is known for his improvisational style and stream-of-consciousness storytelling. A finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition and a performer on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Finney’s unique voice and engaging presence have made him a favorite at comedy festivals and alternative venues across the country. His work reflects a deep appreciation for the counterculture of the 1960s, blending humor with philosophical musings and vibrant energy.

Nic Dean, originally from Omaha and now based in Denver, has performed at venues nationwide, from VFW halls and dive bars to music festivals and comedy clubs. Recognizable by his trademark mustache and sharp delivery, Dean crafts comedy inspired by his childhood and colorful family upbringing. He produces and performs in Denver’s thriving comedy scene, including a monthly showcase at Mutiny Information Cafe and a weekly open mic at Herbs.

Jeremy Ricci, a comedian and cinematographer from Manhattan, Kansas, rounds out the lineup. Ricci is a frequent performer at regional venues including Liquid Art Winery and Switch Wicked Studios. His performances combine a keen sensibility with dry, understated humor.

This evening of comedy kicks off a weekend of laughter as it leads into the arts cooperative’s annual golf tournament, Swinging Fore the Arts: Caddyshack. Embracing a full weekend of humor, the comedians will also appear on the golf course the following day as part of the tournament experience.
