Miltonvale Tootlefest to Bring a Weekend Full of Fun to the City

By: Ryan Duey

The City of Miltonvale will hold its annual Tootlefest this coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  The weekend will be filled with many events and activities for the whole family, starting with a Chalk Art Competition on Friday at 5:00 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Going for the Gold: Faster, Higher, Stronger Together!” highlighting the city’s celebration of coming together for this annual Festival. Lowell Marsh, Miltonvale Chamber President, said the Turtle Race is one of the many unique events at the festival, with many being started many years ago.

Along with the Turtle Race attendees can enjoy a wealth of different activities and music, including Youth Block Races, a Paper Plate Drop/Scatter, Carriage Rides, a Car and Tractor Show, Bingo, music at the Bandshell, and much more.

Marsh had a simple yet powerful reason for what Tootlefest means to the city.

The entire schedule of activities and events as well as all other information on this year’s Tootlefest can be found on the Miltonvale Citizens for Progress Facebook page.
