Join the holiday fun at Mrs. Claus’ Reindeer Games, a free, family-friendly event sponsored by OneMarysville, Sunday, December 22, from 2-4 p.m. at the Lee Dam Center for Fine Art, 201 South 9th Street.
Guests will have the chance to decorate Christmas cookies with Mrs. Claus and her elves, sip festive drinks at a hot chocolate bar and enjoy holiday-themed craft activities.
Adding to the magic, live reindeer will be present to delight children and adults alike. The reindeer are coming from Fulton Valley Farms, Towanda, Kan.
Students from Marysville High School’s KAY Club and FBLA will join in the festivities, offering free gift wrapping for attendees—limit five presents per person.
The event will also feature unique activities to bring everyone together. At 2:30 and 3:30 p.m., guests can participate in the Left-Right Gift Passing Game, where a fun holiday story guides participants to pass small gifts left and right, and whatever is in your hands at the end is yours to keep.
A blindfolded gift-wrapping contest will take place throughout the afternoon, with the best-wrapped present chosen at the end. Guests can also test their skills in the Guess-the-Present Challenge for a chance to win giveaways.
As part of the holiday spirit, attendees are encouraged to bring new or gently used toys for a toy drive benefiting the Good Witch, who works to provide toys for children in need.
“This event truly captures the heart of the holiday season,” said Liz Warren, president of OneMarysville. “It’s a chance for everyone to come together, enjoy festive activities and give back to those in need. We’re excited to share the magic of Mrs. Claus’ Reindeer Games and hope it becomes a cherished tradition for our community.”
Mrs. Claus’ Reindeer Games is open to everyone and offers a festive way to gather, celebrate and share the spirit of the season.
