There’s still time for Kansas families to enjoy free admission to top attractions in Abilene through the Sunflower Summer program, which runs through Friday, August 8.

Participating attractions still available this week include the Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad, Dickinson County Heritage Center, Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum, and Historic Seelye Mansion.

To date, nearly 7,000 tickets have been claimed at Abilene attractions through this year’s program.

“We’re incredibly grateful to the Kansas Legislature for continuing to fund this program and to Kansas Tourism for administering it,” said Julie Roller Weeks, Director of the Abilene Convention & Visitors Bureau. “The impact is twofold: supporting local tourism and providing Kansas kids with fun, educational, and family-friendly experiences.”
