What happens when you combine five local personalities, a stack of bizarre challenges, and a complete disregard for dignity? You get TaskMACster—a live, one-night-only game show event inspired by the hit British TV series Taskmaster, coming to the Manhattan Arts Center on Saturday, June 14 at 7:30 PM.

Featuring five of Manhattan’s own “celebrities,” TaskMACster drops them into a whirlwind of absurd tasks—some physical, some mental, all completely unnecessary. It’s part strategy, part chaos, and entirely unpredictable.

The five competitors stepping into the spotlight are:

  • Ashley Arnold-Hopkins – MAC stage veteran and graphic designer, known for executing creative feats with suspicious precision.
  • Tom Addair – Lawyer. Baan Thai’s #1 customer. Fireworks aficionado. Loud, proud, and ready for combustion.
  • Cheryl Bachelor Boothe – K-State chaos king and creator of things both spicy and spooky. Logic optional.
  • Chris Chamberlin – Cosplayer for a cause and architectural designer. If the cape fits, he’ll probably wear it.
  • Matt Goss – Tattooer, musician, collector, judge of air guitars and hot dogs. A true man about town—none of which will prepare him for this.

Tickets are $10 general admission, available now at www.manhattanarts.org. Seating is limited, so grab your tickets before they vanish under mysterious circumstances.

Expect questionable decisions. Expect surprising brilliance. Expect at least one rubber duck.
