The Eisenhower Park and Rose Garden in Abilene will hold its 2nd Annual Petals at their Peak Garden Showcase on Saturday, July 20th, and Sunday, July 21st. The inspiration for this event is to share the park’s beauty during its peak time. The Eisenhower Park Rose Garden is so much more than roses whose delicate petals fade quickly in the summer’s heat. The garden is also filled with annuals and perennials saturated with color.
This event will allow viewers to see and photograph the garden in all its splendor. The early morning hours are the best for photography.
The Abilene Public Library will also host Come-and-Go Children’s Activities during this event on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to Noon at the Rose Garden.
