American Freedom Tribute to Host Hog Roast Fundraiser in Concordia for Traveling Tribute Wall

The American Freedom Tribute Organization will hold a free-will-donation Hog Roast at the Concordia American Legion on Saturday, March 1st, at 5:00 p.m. The evening will also feature a live auction and music by Country musician Jake Gill.

All proceeds from this Hog Roast help fund the Traveling Tribute Wall and subsequent activities that will be in Concordia from June 5th to the 9th.

Along with the Hog Roast Fundraiser, Rita Goodwin, Senior Coordinator, said there are different places to buy raffle tickets to help with this endeavor.

“Sponsors have stepped up and donated some fantastic items. We are currently selling raffle tickets for these items that we will be giving away Sunday, June 8th. We have about 20 items available and the money from the raffles will help pay for the wall itself, also to have the K-9 Unit on display, and it’s going to help our first responders in the region with things they may need.”

This will be the first of various Hog Roast fundraisers that will take place over the next few months. To learn more about the Tribute Wall, raffle items, where to buy raffle tickets, upcoming fundraising events, and other ways you can help this cause visit www.freedomtribute.org.
