The Flint Hills Discover Center (FHDC) Foundation will host its annual Bison, Beef, and Bourbon Benefit Fundraiser on Thursday, October 23rd, beginning at 6:00 p.m. This year’s 21-and-over event will be held at the Stanley Stout Center in Manhattan.
Proceeds from the event go toward youth education programs at the Flint Hills Discovery Center, with an emphasis on the Outdoor Classroom Renovation Project this year.
The event will feature signature drinks from Horse Soldier Bourbon, Boot Hill Distillery, and other area Distillers. Along with a meal of Bison and Beef creations from Kite’s Drafthouse.
Lesley White, Foundation Director, said it’s a good night to celebrate and help support their cause.
“The night consists of good food, good drinks, and live entertainment. We will also have a silent and live auction that guests can interact with.”
“It’s just a really good night to, you know, engage with people you haven’t seen, enjoy some food and drinks, and then obviously help support the cause.”
“The reason we’re all there to celebrate that evening.”
This year’s Live entertainment will include musical entertainment by Jeff Davidson, along with cigar rolling demonstrations by Ethereal Cigars.
