The Blue Rapids Community Foundation has set the dates for this year’s Circle of Giving Match Day. The Match Day Event will run from Saturday, September 14th to Monday, September 16th. This yearly event greatly impacts local organizations and Blue Rapids as a whole.
Will Clark, Board President of the Community Foundation, said there are a lot of different organizations that fall under the Blue Rapids Community Foundation, highlighting a few.
Clark said that while their Community Foundation is very young, they are getting accolades from neighboring foundations for what they are doing for the small town of Blue Rapids. He said a generous grant from the Patterson Foundation has helped them grow.
Donations up to $5000 will be matched at 50% per organization. Donations can be conveniently made at www.BlueRapidsMatchDay.com, in person at the Community Center during their celebration on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., or by mail.
