Since 1998 the Dickinson County Historical Society has held an annual Ice Cream Social and Baked Goods Auction Fundraiser during the summer. This year’s Ice Cream Social will be held on Saturday, July 20th at the Dickinson County Heritage Center in Abilene at 6:00 p.m.

Austin Anders, Historical Society Director, said they’ll have plenty of ice cream, made by the Historical Society worknight group.

Anders said this fundraiser is used to fill the financial gap until their next fundraiser in October.

This Social is open to everyone. Anders said, come enjoy some ice cream and community fellowship while bidding on some baked goods to help the Heritage Center.
