The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) will hold its next National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 26th. Drug Take Back Day reflects the DEA’s commitment to removing unneeded medications from homes in hopes of making communities safer and healthier.
Local Agencies hosting Drug Take Back Days are:
- Clay Counts Coalition and the Clay County Health Department: Wednesday, October 23rd from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Health Department.
- Marshall County Health Department: Saturday, October 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Health Department.
Area Agencies that collect unneeded medications year-round:
- Patterson Health Mart Pharmacy: Clay Center and Abilene
- Washington Health and Drug: Washington
- Yungeberg Drug: Blue Rapids
- Oshkins Pharmacy: Belleville
- Republic County Hospital: Belleville
- JC Pharmacy and Konza Prairie Health Center: Junction City
