The Flint Hills Foster Teen Camps (FHFTC) Organization will host its 2025 Evening of Hope Benefit Dinner and Auction on Saturday, March 29th, at Sunset Zoo in Manhattan. Cocktail hour will start at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner and a live auction.
FHFTC has been providing support for foster teens aged 12 and up for over fifteen years. FHFTC’s Emily Garwood said they are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for fostered teens.
“Flint Hills Foster Teen Camps began after a need was seen locally for a camp focused on helping older foster children and those transitioning out of foster care. We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for foster teens.”
“Our organization offers two different summer camp programs which have been meticulously designed to offer transformative experiences and share their stories. It’s all really about team building and trust.”
Their annual Evening of Hope Benefit greatly impacts FHFTC’s mission with funds helping the organization sustain these transformative camps.
“Our Evening of Hope event significantly supports the Flint Hills Teen Camps mission by raising funds to provide an enriching camp experience for foster teens.”
“Everything we do that evening is dedicated to fostering healing and igniting hope among teens in the foster care system. This event also ensures the sustainability of the unique Ranch setting that is central to our transformative programs.”
Garwood emphasized that FHFTC relies on community support, donations, and volunteers to provide this service to foster teens. For more information on the organization and the Evening of Hope Benefit visit their Facebook page or https://fhftc.org.
