The 1st Infantry Division and Fort Riley will host a welcome home ceremony for elements of the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team as they return from deployment to Europe. Details are attached and below. 1st Infantry Division Public Affairs representatives will meet interested media personnel at the Visitor Control Center at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday.

Since April 2014, U.S. Army Europe and Africa has led the Department of War’s Atlantic Resolve land efforts. Atlantic Resolve provides rotational deployments of combat-credible forces to Europe to show our commitment to NATO while building readiness, increasing interoperability, and enhancing the bonds between ally and partner militaries.

As of Nov. 2021, V Corps has assumed command and control of all Atlantic Resolve rotational forces.

Welcome Home Ceremonies are fluid events based upon flight arrival times and admin processing of returning Soldiers. Not all ceremonies will start on time, and some may start early. Flexibility and patience are required for these events.
