Kansas residents in need of dental care will have access to free services next week as the Kansas Mission of Mercy (KMOM) brings its annual large-scale dental clinic to Manhattan. The two-day event will take place January 30–31, 2026, at the Kansas National Guard Armory, offering no-cost dental treatment to patients of all ages.

Organized by the Kansas Dental Charitable Foundation (KDCF), KMOM is one of the state’s largest charitable health initiatives. Since its inception in 2003, the program has provided more than 33,500 patients with free dental care valued at over $23 million through the support of volunteer dentists, hygienists, and community partners.

What Patients Can Expect

Participants will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Services focus on the most urgent needs, including extractions, fillings, and dental hygiene cleanings. Licensed dental professionals from across Kansas donate their time and expertise to ensure that every patient receives quality care.

No insurance, proof of income, or dental records are required, making the clinic accessible to anyone who may otherwise go without care. Similar KMOM events routinely serve hundreds of Kansans each day, especially those facing financial barriers or lacking access to regular dental services.

Community Impact

This year’s mission aims to serve approximately 750 patients, supported by volunteers, food donations, and community partners who make the clinic possible. The program prioritizes low-income individuals and families through collaborations with local churches, service organizations, and outreach programs.
