The Ghost Crew Riders (GCR), in collaboration with Marco’s Pizza, will host their 3rd annual School Supplies Car Wash Fundraiser on Saturday, August 9th, in the Marco’s Pizza parking lot in Junction City from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This annual event is a free-will offering car wash, with the Riders accepting monetary or school supply donations. All funds and supplies will be donated throughout the area schools.
Last year, over $1,400 was donated, helping to provide 144 backpacks full of school supplies to youth in need. Casper Harold, GCR President, said all support from this event and all GCR events goes right back to the community.
“I appreciate all the input and anybody helping us out because we can’t do what we do without our communities.”
“We don’t keep any of the money; it all goes to help the kids. So, I would appreciate any help from the community because that’s what GCR does, we do everything for our communities.”
