Hanover Brothers’ “Spirit of Christmas Campaign” to Help a Local Family

By: Ryan Duey

For the past few years brothers Brett and Davis Becker, of Hanover, have taken the spirit of Christmas to a higher level with their “Spirit of Christmas Campaign.”

Every year the two brothers, dressed as Santa and his elf, collect donations for a family in need. This year the brothers are collecting money for Kole Bruna and family. Kole, born on November 28th of this year, was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. The left side of Kole’s heart is underdeveloped and unable to do what it should. He is currently at Boston Children’s Hospital and has already had one surgery to repair his heart, with another two surgeries needed.

Santa Brett and his elf will be collecting donations for the Bruna family at three different locations.

  • The Citizen’s National Bank on Friday, December 20th from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
  • The Hanover Library on Saturday, December 21st from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
  • And at their home on Monday, December 23rd from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Special visits may be possible by contacting the Becker’s. Reach out to parents, Ty and Rita Becker to request a visit or with any questions.
