Holiday Punch Cards Encourage Concordia Residents to Shop Local

By Payton Tholstrup

Concordia Chamber of Commerce’s annual Holiday Punch Card Event is once again encouraging residents to shop locally this Christmas.

Many of the local businesses participate in the event each year. Annie Bergmann, Executive Director of Concordia Chamber of Commerce, explained how it works. Customers will receive a stamp on their card for every ten dollars spent at a participating business. In total, customers can spend up to $300, the equivalent of three punch cards. Once the card is full, the customer will take it to the Chamber Office, located at 207 W. 6th Street in Concordia.

From there, cards are entered into a drawing for Chamber Bucks. The drawing will take place on December 19th, 2024 at noon at the Chamber Office. Cards must be turned in by 11:45 a.m. that day to be eligible.
