Tim Bascom, the Director of the Kansas Book Festival, gave us some insight on the background of the event.

He then goes on to talk about the new addition of the festival that’s moving more west.

This is the first year the book festival will be expanding, with a group of authors traveling to Abilene, Kansas on Sunday, September 17th as a start to the Kansas Book Festival West.
