Sportsmen Acres served as basecamp for operations where volunteer guides where assigned to each hunter and a hearty breakfast was prepared each morning. The hunt took place in the Milford State Park and the Curtis Creek Park.

A special thanks to Grandpa Boones Cabin & Outfitters in Milford Kansas for overseeing the rifle sight-in, Dieck’s Locker Plant for providing a free processing of harvested deer, and the Geary County Fish and Game Association for hosting the event.
