The Marshall County Arts Cooperative invites puzzle enthusiasts to test their logic skills at a Sudoku Tournament on Saturday, April 12, at 10 a.m. at the Lee Dam Center for Fine Art, 201 South 9th Street in Marysville.

Open to individuals of all skill levels, the tournament offers a fun and fast-paced format with a $5 entry fee and cash prizes for the top finishers. The first-place winner will receive $50, second place will earn $30 and third place will take home $20.

Participants will start with a warm-up round to get into the puzzle-solving mindset before the competition officially begins. Each round will be completed on paper, with a 15-minute time limit per round.

The competition heats up in the first round, where the top half of participants will advance. In the second round, contestants will face a medium-difficulty puzzle, and only the top five will move on to the final challenge. The final round will determine the top three winners.

Whether you’re a seasoned Sudoku master or just looking for a good brain workout, this tournament promises a lively, light-hearted morning of competition and camaraderie.
