Tomorrow, November 2nd, Ft Riley will host a ribbon cutting event to celebrate the start of the 39th year of Operation Santa Claus, an effort to collect and donate presents to the families of active-duty service members with financial needs. Operation Santa Claus will collect unopened presents in the $10-$20 price range for newborn children through age 18. Donation boxes for presents will be set up throughout Junction City, Manhattan, and Fort Riley.
